Production Manager

• Ensuring flawless, timely and proper production in compliance with internal and external guidelines and specifications. Monitoring and control of production as well as continuous optimization of manufacturing processes.

• Leading and developing a production team of more than 200 people with responsibility for the production department, which includes Carpaccio, Bacon, Ham and packaging as well as social area and cleaning; direct disciplinary lead for 10 employees

• Implementing and optimizing production schedules while ensuring effective resource planning and cost efficiency using modern shift schedules

• Coordination of work preparation, disposition of operating and auxiliary materials, determination of process engineering concepts 

• Developing performance measurement systems to improve systems and process parameters, as well as compiling and evaluating error statistics

• Ensuring quality management in production by applying quality inspection procedures and identifying malfunctions;

• Completed training as a food or meat technician (m/f/d), or completed technical studies.

• Several years of experience in a comparable function in the food industry

• Very good knowledge of work preparation, resource planning, controlling, production and order management, costing, production and production planning

• Experience in leadership, guidance and development of employees

• Very good knowledge of written and spoken Dutch and English
