Quality Assurance Manager

• Ensuring and implementing internal and statutory quality assurance measures and standards 

• Initiation and implementation of continuous process improvement within the departmental organisation

• Ensuring and implementing regular tests and controls in the production process, such as laboratory tests, traceability tests before and during production, as well as carrying out product releases and product blockings

• Preparation and implementation of internal and external audits, official inspections and derivation of measures from the results and follow-up of the implementation of identified measures

• Implementation of and compliance with hygiene and occupational safety regulations in the area of responsibility

• Management and further development of the assigned employees

• Degree preferably in ecotrophology, nutrition and hygiene technology or food technology

• Several years of professional experience in a production company (food) advantageous

• Very good knowledge of quality assurance methods, food safety and hygiene guidelines for food production, such as IFS 7, HACCP

• Experience in leading and developing employees

• Very good knowledge of written and spoken English and Dutch
