Coordinator (f/m/d) of the CEPLAS Graduate School

Main tasks

• Coordination of the international CEPLAS Graduate Sehaal
• Recruitment of new PhD students
• Support for new students and continuous support and guidance for the students throughout their doctoral phase
• First point of contact for the students, also in case of conflict
• Organization and continuous development of the qualification phase
• Design and implementation of the training program, lab rotations, retreats, excursions and other events in cooperation with the CEPLAS Training Program for Postdoctoral Researchers and other Offices
• Communication an Graduate Sehaal activities
• Evaluation of the Graduate Sehaal and ongoing improvement of the program
• Implementation of the CEPLAS research internship program
• Support of other duster activities

Your Profile

• PhD degree in biology (preferably in plant sciences) or a related discipline
• High degree of seif-initiative and individual responsibility
• Excellent communication skills in English and fluent in German (spoken and written)
• ldeally, professional experience in academic sector, knowledge of university structures
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Ability to work in a team
• Flexibility, both in terms of tasks and working hours
• Readiness for mobility between the participating institutions is required
