Postdoc (gn) Pediatric Hematology and Oncology

locationAlbert-Schweitzer-Campus, 48149 Münster, Deutschland
We are UKM. We have a clear social mission and, with our focus on healthcare, research, and teaching, we bear a unique responsibility. To meet our high standards every day, we are looking forward to your scientific expertise in the Kerl Lab at the Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Clinic with a focus on cancer immunology. Our group describes the cellular heterogeneity in pediatric tumors and its impact on therapy response. In this project we focus on identifying mechanisms of cellular communication between immune and tumor cells in pediatric cancer. In order to do this, we use advanced single cell-based technologies, including single cell RNA sequencing, spatial transcriptomics and multiplex immunohistochemistry - ideally with you on board! The University Hospital of Münster is one of the leading hospitals in Germany. Such a position cannot be achieved by size and medical successes alone. The individual commitment counts above all.
