This PhD position is offered at the Chair of Social and Organisational Psychology within the Department of Sociology and Social Psychology.
YOUR TASKS
- Plan and conduct independent research within the chair‘s research areas, such as (perceptions of) attitudes, ambivalence, and social judgments and behavior, with the aim of developing a strong academic profile
- Communicate findings through publications and presentations at conferences
- Contribute to ongoing research projects at the chair
- Apply for individual research funding and support the preparation of collaborative applications
- Contribute to teaching in the faculty’s degree programmes
- Actively contribute to the research environment in the department and the Center for Social and Economic Behavior
YOUR PROFILE
- Master‘s degree in psychology, behavioral economics, or a related discipline
- Strong motivation to pursue an academic career
- Experience with experimental and survey software (e.g., ORSEE, Qualtrics, SoSci Survey), and/or programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) and data analyses
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- High level of curiosity, initiative, and independence in research-related work
- Working language is English; German is optional
