About US
The newly founded Institute of Molecular Pathogenicity conducts research in the field of Molecular lnfection Biology. We aim to understand how defense proteins of the innate immune system detect and combat bacterial pathogens, and how these pathogens evade immune responses. To fundamentally understand these hast-pathogen interactions, we use an interdisciplinary approach combining molecular biology, microbiology, cell biology, immunology, biophysics, and biochemistry. The lab language is English.
