The position is based in the Department of Economics within the Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences, which is consistently ranked among the best economics departments in research and teaching.The candidate will be part of the ERC-funded research group of Professor Erik Hornung. Collaboration with other members of the DFG-funded Cluster of Excellence ‘ECONtribute:
Markets & Public Policy’ (jointly with the University of Bonn) and the Department of Economics is welcome.

The position is available as soon as possible on a full-time basis (39,83 hours per week). It is limited to a term of five years. If the applicant meets the relevant wage requirements and personal qualifications, the salary is based on remuneration group 13 TV-L of the pay scale for the German public sector.
